Cappellini in the new Whitney Museum, New York

Cappellini has provided a place for meditation and relaxation with the famous Elan sofa designed by Jasper Morrison for visitors of the newly opened Whitney Museum of American Art in New York. A group of two and three-seater sofas in a smoky-coloured fabric were selected by the well-known architect and engineer Renzo Piano for the fifth floor "Neil Bluhm Family Galleries" which overlook the Hudson River and the Meatpacking District of Manhattan. The elegant Elan sofa perfectly interacts with the modern and contemporary design of the Whitney, designed by Renzo Piano in a serene environment where guests are invited to connect with the art on display.
