The restaurant and cocktail bar "Carlo e Camilla, in Segheria", born from the encounter between the chef-star Carlo Cracco and art director Tanja Solci, has won the prestigious "Wallpaper* Design Award 2015" for Best New Restaurant in 2015. Defined by Wallpaper* as epic and poetic, Tanja Solci's creativity intertwines fantasy and reality in a theatrical atmosphere and timeless setting. Thanks to her artistic choices, Cappellini plays the role of co-star. One side of the cross table symbolizes the male "Carlo" with the rigorous Fronzoni '64 chairs, while the other side is dedicated to a fictional female character, "Camilla", with the Tate Color chairs by Jasper Morrison. The Segheria is a historic Milanese factory which was founded in 1932 in Via Meda 24 by Tanja's grandparents. In 1999 Tanja and her father Carlo decided to restore the whole area turning the place into one of the best destinations of the Fuori Salone in Milan, and following this into an unprecedented bistro-factory.
