The Istituto Marangoni has chosen Cappellini to furnish its campus, from the classrooms to the offices and lounge areas which are all dedicated to fashion courses for students from all over the world. Several locations are involved in this process which started in 2004 in Milan and successively London, Paris, New York, Shanghai, Mumbai and Chongqing.
On Thursday January 23, the prestigious "Istituto Marangoni Design School," opened in Via Cerva 24 in Milan, in a building that was formerly home to a bank. The 2,500 square meters structure, divided over several floors, was fully designed and furnished under the art direction of Giulio Cappellini and is dedicated to the teaching of subjects related to furniture design. This important project includes long selling products and also iconic products such as the Dalia armchair, the Revolving Cabinet, the Fronzoni ’64 and Big Break tables, the Lotus and Cap Chair armchairs and Tate color, Bac 2 and Stitch chairs and stools.
